Area Models
Area models serve as a powerful visual representation of numerical relationships that can be applied from single digit multiplication in 3rd grade through multiplying polynomials in middle school and recognizing geometric patterns in high school. During this session, educators will explore the progression of standards to better understand how using area models can aide students in making connections between computational and algebraic skills.
